Narrative Pack, Folk Tales screenshots
Pupils compare two folk tales, before writing their own story that uses the technique of anthropomorphism (endowing animals with human characteristics). For writing support, pupils can:
Read and compare the two folk tales with our books and comparison table
Continue and complete our model story
Plan their own story using our planning grid
Check their story structure includes the genre’s main features
Make initial notes and refine them into sentences, using our interactive tool
Non-Fiction Pack – Chinese New Year
These interactive and paper based writing resources are ideal for introducing Chinese New Year to you class, they can then carry out their own research and writing tasks. Pupils can:
Read about the festival’s origins and traditions in our colourful information book
